Game Review 1 (written by Tcarson) Added on: 04/25/2007
The wrestlers are large and very well animated with almost all of the wrestling moves made perfect. The game never slowed down even with 4 of the larger wrestlers on-screen. The theme music is good, it's good quality and a catchy tune. The in-game commentary is great, Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler provide witty comments that comparable to John Maddenismus. The sound effects fit the actions extremely well. The game features 2 modes of play, InterContinental and World Title modes.
In the I-C mode you face opponents in one-on-one fights until the last few fights, which turn into two-on-one, the final fight is a three-on-one match.
The World Title mode pits you in two-on-one fights for most of the tournament, then pits you in several three-on-one fights, the final fight is a Royal Rumble in which all the wrestlers in the game come out at different time intervals to beat you. This game also features a ton of unique and crazy moves that are good for a laugh. Among them are the Undertaker's Jumping Chokeslam, and Doink the Clown's Joy Buzzer attack. The difficulty is adjustable and the AI patterns are predictable. The I-C mode is as easy as one could possibly imagine, the only time it will pose problems is when you have two-on-one fights.
The World mode is difficult, the two-on-one fights are hard, and the three-on-one

fights are even harder. This game is a must have for any big time wrestling fan. This is one of the wrestling originals and paved the way for all wrestling games following. It is a fun action packed classic. The arcade style of the game is authentic of what you would play in an old school quarter slot arcade game. Highly recommended. The best of the wrestling nation games available.

Game Review 2 (written by Blackbub1802) Added on: 04/25/2007
This game is still a blast to play just as it was back then. I don’t keep up with wrestling much, so I don’t remember some of the names, but I do remember Sting, Hulk Hogan, Rick Flare, and there are a few more of the “legends” of wrestling.
Though this game is rather old, the characters still look decent and the graphics of the stage and the crowd are not bad, considering when the game was made. The player’s moves are the ones they would have made in the wring. They do their own personal moves as well as their “signature” move. This game is quite different in the fact that when I went back to play it, it was just as fun as the day I picked it up for the first time. I have been into video games since I was old enough to understand what was going on and Wrestlemania was my first wrestling video game. I have since played other wrestling games, but still found myself going right back to this one. There is something about old classics that just keep you drawn in.
The characters are relatively easy to control once you get used to it. This game is very user friendly, it is easy to set-up and gets started. You can play in single mode or two player mode. Both are just as fun and will have you laughing equally as hard. The tag team matches are loads of fun as well.
All in all, this is a very good game for all generations. So try it.

This is the classic WWF game of the late 80's early 90's. Play as all the big names of this era; Jake the Snake Roberts, Macho Man Randy Savage and of course Hulk Hogan. Play in the 1-4 player Royal Rumble mode where you fight to be the last man in an elimination match where a new competitor comes in ten seconds after the last one leaves. You can also form a tag team (with a friend if you wish) and play in a tag tournament against classics like Demolition in order to challenge the Legion of Doom for their titles. Each character has its own unique finisher true to the actual wrestler. This game is hours if not days of game play, and a must have for all WWF fans.

I like this game very much. Ever since I was a young kid I remembered this game. I think this game is a must have in everyone's game collection.

It is pretty popular, but terribly violent.
