Clash of Steel: Future Edition

The game Clash of Steel Future edition is the modern rendition of the game Clash of Steel. It is a strategy game from Strategic Simulations Inc. Those who already have the classic Clash of Steel need not download this game as it is essentially the same game. There’s no point in having two copies of one game. There are no new maps to explore in this Future Edition. This enhanced version only features enhanced graphics, bug fixes and other minor developments from the classic game.

When I played the original game I was sorely disappointed and it’s because the original game had so much bugs and flaws. This game would have made a better impression to me if I had the opportunity to play it first. The user interface is very easy to understand and manage and is definitely one of the finer points of the game. The graphics of the game is pretty impressive with a very detailed map used in the missions.
This is actually a challenging and interesting World War II strategy game that is worth playing. When you play the game, you have to choose between Axis and Allied forces. You will then have to fight for the control of Europe and North Africa. The game is turn-based and the player must successfully take control of the two continents by January of 1946. You must manage all your forces to successfully complete your goal. You shall be in charge of the air, naval and ground troops. You must also make sure that you have a good defense system for territories that are already under your control.
The game is a strategy game and do not focus on the other aspects of the game such as managing territory economics and such. It’s actually a great game that does not bog you down with such details. Of course there are strategy games that also involve micro-management but are not boring but with this game, it’s actually great that it focuses on the war strategy and nothing else. Besides keeping track of the troops is already hard enough to manage sometimes, the game would become very frustrating if it included economy management too. You can wage battles but you can also use diplomacy to your gain in this game.
I recommend this to those who have never played the original game. This is definitely a better version so if you were considering downloading that game, get this one instead.
