The first thing you do is get brief on the mission ahead with a little assignment because you are of a low rank officer. It's great as the game develops you move up in the ranks. Once you actually start playing you have to build you defences with money the enemy will send missile or mech armors to attack so be ready and you both start out not knowing where you are.

The bad guys are comical as well with in battle dialog for you. They also have their own strategy. This game was the best I ever played I think the sheer
strategy of defence and attack was wonderful. I could build up a level and take my time and obliterate the enemy. I never finished the game so I am looking forward to finishing this game.
The story was very interesting as well, with why you are where you are but at this point I have forgotten most of the story because it has been so long since I've played. I could have clocked 50 hours playing this game but my friend had to leave. I also rented the game but still never finished it.
I definitely recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun afternoon of build you defence and attack and upgrade. It's a little like real time strategy with command and conquer style. The graphics are pretty lame at this point but gameplay is where it's at. The gameplay is quick you rush to get started and build defences I mean you even have false bases that you can get to attack you at. The mech are upgradeable as well so it makes customizing possible for the game. This game has everything from strategy to developing your army to growing in rank a fun story to follow. I mean it's just great all around.
What else can I say about this game, if I remember correctly you can half to power you defences and weapons or they will shut down and nothing was more annoying than getting a missile through your defences and having to rebuild before he launched another attack. It also took several minutes for missile to reload and it took time to build your defences so you had to move and think ahead to avoid your destruction.
All in all this game was great and I have never played any like since, so I recommend it to whoever wants to play.
