Monopoly Tycoon was a very interesting game it sparked my interest because I am a advent monopoly fan. People bash monopoly because it takes to long to play but it one of the greatest games ever. Tycoon takes the board game and ads a major twist to it that is very original and unexpected. When I first got the game I was not sure what to expect but this game definitely meets all my expectations. The idea of starting businesses and trying to make a certain number of sells makes it a overall success.
There are many things in the game that I find weird. It is not really a monopoly game it is Sim City monopoly version. Like there is a Sim City for roller coasters this is like the monopoly version.
But I always found Sim city a fun game so that did not bother me in the slightest. They utilize a wide range of graphics in the game that surprised me overall but it was well made I think that they could of made cooler looking characters but what can you expect. The games journey mod I thought the first couple of levels were a joke you could beat them in your sleep they did not challenge anyone at all they were just
there. I think that they were trying to intro the game to much. You can just read direction and they could of summed up everything in one level. People like games that they can not finish quickly but I think monopoly Tycoon was on the simplistic side.
It was not that hard and raised little question as what was to be completed. That all said the game also is very confusing at parts there are many things in the game that make you think "what was that". I am overall amazed at how the logic they used works but what ever makes money flies. The graphics in films be good they could have made more and made them more a part of the game everyone likes to see some great animation here and there. Where it is realistic or not does not matter. But they could have made it real with little effort at all. They see this as a outlet to the many things that they have yet to improve on. The game may not be up to par to one of the greatest game ever but overall it was a well made game that has room for improvement through out so that people can properly appreciate the game of monopoly.
