Ah, nothing like a few classic games and great fan bases. Nuclear War 3: Ground Zero is a product of exactly that: a marriage of good gameplay from a solid core game and fun extras as a result of a dedicated fan base's newer rendition of the game. It is a very solid war game- obviously, the graphics are nowhere near where today's are, but the pizelated worlds do their job. In addition, the gameplay is extremely engaging and is a terrific way to waste time mastering:). The fact that it is a remake has some drawbacks, but its pros definitely outweigh such cons (i.e. not so lighthearted). On the whole, this game is one of the finest that you can download form a long lost era of forgotten games in which graphics did not matter nearly so much as the fun that could be had from the game.
Brief overview: Pretty much a "nuke fest" (hence the title), in which you must destroy your opponents through violence and otherwise- extremely similar to World Domination 2; don't worry if it seems confusing at first, just go with it until you get a basic grip on the game's controls and otherwise. Pretty soon, you'll be trouncing George W. Bush's lil' dominion (or many other leaders, for that matter). In short, the basic gameplay has remained unchanged from the original, but the fun addons and customizable featers have further enhance what was already a great game. If you are into strategy, go for it.
