Honestly I still prefer the board game over the PC version because there’s nothing like sitting on a square table, holding the tiles and goading your opponent to snap for a word he just invented. There’s a reason the game Scrabble is a classic and it’s because it can provide the whole family with great fun and it’s a game anybody can play. It’s also a game that enhances your vocabulary.
But since it is the digital age, and sometimes you just have a lot of time in your hands and you want to play Scrabble even when you are alone, I still installed the Scrabble for Windows on my PC. At least I get to play the game even when I’m alone that is certainly something I can’t do with the board game.
The game has some nice additional features but I really just want my Scrabble the old way. This digital version has different difficulty levels that you can adjust. Set it on low at first and then move on to the more difficult levels once you get the hand of playing against the AI. The easy levels are also perfect for grade school kids learning to spell.
One great feature of the game though is the dictionary which can really come in handy in the game. Still I think part of the fun pf playing Scrabble the board game is the suspense of looking for a particular word in the dictionary.
The game is wholesome and educational so this is one game that no one would object to having installed in their PC. It is a game that can easily be learned by young children and a game that even old folks can appreciate.
The graphics and the sound of the game are pretty good. The graphics actually adds a little more fun to the whole game. And of course the sound adds to the experience. Scrabble is Scrabble in any form you play it. It’s a true classic that will last many more generations.
I recommend this game for downloading because it’s a game that anyone can enjoy. Even those who enjoy fast-paced adventure games, sometimes need a little game for when they are taking a break from work or even a break from another game. Just download it now even if you don’t intend to play it in right away. I’m sure there will come a time when you’re on your PC and would want to play a nice, classic game like the Scrabble.

Scrabble for windows is perfect for people who like to kill a little time playing a popular board game, or if your lonely and have no one to play against in your own home. Also it has a lot more features than the original dusty scrabble game you have locked up in the entry closet under a collection of 1950's horror movies and your twelve different "special edition" monopoly games.
The skill levels offer a challenge to any level of player and their are many options that make it easier to play like a built-in dictionary making unnecessary to dig through your VHS collection to find one. Even people who usually find scrabble a boring and useless waste of their time would find this game entertaining for at least a short amount of time. It is a classic game that is highly addicting and is very challenging. Its educational so all you kiddies, your parents won't get angry at you for playing it and its great for people who enjoy competition.
Also the sound is very realistic and the graphics are fair as well. I would definitely recommend this for all ages and all skill levels, many scrabble games have one or two modes that make it challenging for some people I am pleased that this scrabble game has made it possible that when I am taking a short and rare break from my computer my son can play this game at his level.
