Hands down, this game will definitely steal some voluble time from your life. I play this game every time I get the chance, and I have owned it for years now. I do think some of the weapons are rather lack-lustier. Also the missions for Zealots were a little less entertaining. The most fun I found in this game was the co-op experience. Teamwork makes gathering large numbers of civilians under your control a little more tactically sound. The use of flamethrowers and the LR Fifle were often the choices of guest gamers.

The graphics have the feel of the era they were made, nostalgia for ShadowRun and Flashback hit me every time I use the Corporation, trench coat wearing cyber bots with flamethrowers are always
a good thing. The upgrades were indeed a nice feature. A bit more customization would have been welcome.
Few bugs in game-play were found, although the weapon selection needed another choice or two. I found that while some were useful in different situations, ultimately creativity was often forced instead of needed. A cry of I bet I can do this mission with the pulse laser and rocket was a sign we had been playing too long. But I believe the fun has never left. Robbing banks proves to be a challenging test at times. And it is always fun to take out the various threats from punks and gangsters with an army of armed pedestrians.
The screams of your dying "volunteers" are among some of the classic sounds of the era and to be respected and enjoyed with an open-minded ear. They are not golden but perhaps silver enough to make a lasting impression on new gamers. Sounds and stubby graphics aside, there are some classic game-play moments to had here and more people should pick a side in the fight of the Syndicate Wars.
I am not sure why this game never got a chance at a sequel. Perhaps this could have been one of the all time greats if it were just given the chance. Creativity is sometimes needed and imaginative improve with a friend is a definite plus. After all two Zealots can bring more innocents to the fold than just one. And two (or four) blazing flamethrowers are definitely and fantastically better than one. I would say with creativity this game will please one and all.
