There are plenty of unknown games out there that are capable of providing countless hours of gaming fun. The day was slow and I just wanted to try a game. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this game is quite enjoyable. Viking: The Strategy of Ultimate Conquest successfully transcends several genres creating an entertaining game with a good mix of game play. The game is an adventure game mixed with a little action and adventure.
You have to take on the role of a Viking ruler and manage your own province. This includes managing the province’s economy, trading with other provinces and even raiding other territories. You can either stay in your own kingdom to simply manage your territory or you can go out with men and raid other territories. Raiding other territories will help you gain fame and money. When
you come across a new territory, you can either negotiate with the natives or attack them. You can also interact with people, get news and basically explore the new land.
As additional features, you can even get married or get in bar fights or all the crazy adventures that Vikings are wont to get involved in. You can pick out your own nationality and your land at the start of the game. You can also choose at what difficulty level you would want to start playing the game. This is a great feature because novice players may want to start the easy levels while the most experienced players can start with the difficult levels right away.
The graphics of the game is pretty good. There is a map that you can use to sail the oceans or to walk the lands. The controls of the game aren’t as smooth as the more modern games but they are pretty easy to get used to. The music and sound effects are appropriate to the game.
This is a well-made game that is worth downloading. Try it now. The game is not easy so you will spend a good number of hours on the game but it’s a fun game so you won’t mind it.
