Game Review (written by Dgame) Added on: 04/19/2007
If you love old games for the computer, you'll kind of love this one. I know, this is a construction game, and it may be boring to some of you, and if it is, don't download it. If you love to build, and I know I like to build things (I do build various structures out of dominoes all the time), you would love to play this game. Even though this might be an old game, and the graphics might stink a little bit, this game is a total time waster, and, if you are bored during the day, you can spend your time playing this game. You might even find out that you are a great designer (or architect, what ever you want to call it) on the computer, as opposed to drawing, which you might stink at.
If you are an old game collector, this would be a good addition to your collection, whether it is huge or whether it is small. When I play this game, I feel better about my artistic ability because I can create some cool things (I take art class at my school, and I'm a mediocre artist.) despite the kind of good graphics. It does take a long time to finish a building, and I'm trying to remember if it has a save feature on the program, and I think it does, but, I'll have to check. This is the exact reason that I said that this game is a TOTAL time waster that will get you through the good times and the bad times.
This program also has some good controls for taking your structure to the next level, and they include perspective, design, background areas (for good scenery), and some windows. They could've done better with some cooler-looking windows. And one other thing, the graphics are at least better than some graphics I see on other games, especially some Gametek games. It's like Gametek slaps a few crappy graphics together for a few minutes, calls it a game, and then mass produces it. Although I haven't played the predecessor to this game, I heard that it is kind of average to this version. This game is perfect for computer whizes and people who could actually use this program to design any structure that they might build, whether it's in the backyard or not. 3D Construction Kit 2 is one of those good games, not great, but good. I would personally give this game about three (3) stars.

Itakai (04/24/2007) This game was interesting. This game has alot of features that were interesting.Steve (04/23/2007) Great game.Hl5558 (04/18/2007) We played this at school to get kids interested in construction. We also played it when we were building towers. The buttons were a little confusing at first to figure out but once you do it gets pretty addicting. The graphics were pretty good |
