Game Review (written by Eric) Added on: 02/14/2008
Flight SIM Tool Kit is a flight simulation game published by Domark in the nineties. The game allows you to create your own flight simulation game. It allows you to customize aircrafts and operation theaters to fly your aircraft. It is a good program that lets you make various environments and aircrafts and combine them differently so that you have unlimited flight simulation scenarios to play.
The graphics is the strongest feature of the game although when you consider the technology that is available now, the graphics won’t come as totally impressive.

The game includes five editors: World, Shape, Color, Cockpit, and Model. The game has numerous things that you can manipulate to create your aircraft and your world. You can create small worlds or even big ones that would test your flying skills. You can create aircrafts in 3D. You can also upload WAV sound that will play during certain parts of the simulation. After you create your world and your aircraft you can now enjoy the fruits of your labor.
The game has some glitches and is not the best flight simulation creator game but if you want to just play around then this game is good enough. It gave me a pretty enjoyable experience so I’m sure you’ll enjoy it as well.
You can create stand-alone games that you can play and let others play even if they do not have the program. This is a pretty interesting element of the game. This game allows you to become a game designer and not just a regular player.
But as much as I enjoyed the game because of the freedom it allowed me in terms of designing the world and the aircrafts. I am afraid experienced flight sim players will not enjoy this as much as other flight simulation games that presented more challenges to gamers. The game lacks good opponents to remain interesting to those who really love flight sims. The editor isn’t the problem it’s the actual flight simulation that fails to deliver. You can only have so much fun with the editor, after you have had enough fun with the editor you want to have as much fun with the simulation game.
So just download this game and try it. Just remember to think of it as flight simulation game creator more than it is an exciting flight simulation game. If you keep that in mind then you won’t be frustrated with this game.
