Game Review (written by Tony2tyger) Added on: 11/30/2007
This is not a game. Please ignore the other reviewers specifying this as a game. This is actually a utility to allow you to edit saves and other binary files. There are such basic functions in this utility: it allows you to search for, replace and modify certain character strings and compare files and display the differences between those files. This utility requires a DOS emulator to properly function. Therefore, I do not recommend this to somebody who does not have a lot of computer experience or programming experience.
This utility reminds me of the old days of when you had DOS based computers and no window environment.
This utility is an excellent solution for somebody looking experience what it was like to modify or hack into a game back in the late 80s or early 90s. I would have to say it gave me a nostalgic feeling the first time I hacked one of my game saves in Simcity. This utility is great for finding and replacing text strings in a binary file. It is similar to using a hex editor. However, it is more like using a hex editor back in the days before Windows.
So you may ask me why would anybody want to use an ancient utility to hack into a game when they can use the modern text editors or modern hex or binary editors that are available all over the World Wide Web. I would say that if you want to edit or hack in to your saves or games quickly and painlessly, do not download this utility since you can do this very easily with other text editors or hex or binary editors on the web. However, if you want to have some fun and experience what it was like back in the early days of computers and experience what it was like hacking back then, I would have to highly recommend this utility as a must have. Trust me, if you are a computer geek like me, you will have loads of fun and enjoy using this utility to hack all kinds of games. This is a download for all of the computer geeks out there who would like to be reminded of their youths.

The game is pretty good. It was hard to get started, but once I figured it out it was pretty fun. It's a new twist in game design which is nice. It's always nice to mix things up a bit. I would recommend the game. It makes you think in a different sort of way.

This game is pretty fun and not that difficult to learn. This is a great way to pass time. You will find the time just flying by because of the fun you are having.
